Founding Fathers

Idaho ATV Association, Inc.  -- In 1996, William A "Bill" Jones and Bob Jackson founded the Association in Boise, Idaho.  They loved to ride their ATVs all over southern Idaho.  One day, up on top of a mountain, they decided that other people should be with them to enjoy the scenery.  So, they contacted some of their other friends and asked them to join them.  The Founding Members are Beaver Poe, Fred Burns, Marvin Miller, Bob Gholson, Bob Jackson, and Bill Jones.

Bill and Bob officially began putting together all the paper work to start the Idaho ATV Association, Inc.  Later, they found that Bob had cancer.  They decided that they needed to ride to as many hill tops as they could before Bob could not ride anymore.  They both, drove over 5,000 miles and loved every minute of it.  In fact, many of trails that they rode are now being shared with many members.  Bill said, "If you can get to a mountain top, Bob and I have probably been on it!"
